About Us

When you visit the office of Mark S. Dill, DDS, on Shallowford Road, you’ll find a dental care team that takes your health truly to heart. We want you to feel like family when you are here, whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been coming here for years. We’ve been caring for our Chattanooga neighbors for many years and value the contributions we have been able to make to the health of our community. It’s our honor to be trusted to care for the fine people of this beautiful area.

With every visit, we take the opportunity to get to know our patients better. We find it makes our care more personal when we understand our patients’ viewpoints and situations. At the same time, we know that a little fun and humor always makes the day go better.

About us 2

Our Commitment

Our goal is to provide exceptional care to every patient. We do this by educating every patient on the right way to care for their teeth and by detecting and expertly treating any dental or oral problem they might experience. We know how to make a dental visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible, even for patients who suffer anxiety during their care. If the idea of dental care is scary for you, we hope you will let us know before your first visit so we can take special care of you while you’re in our office.

Ensuring our procedures and equipment are 100% up to date is an ongoing process. It’s how we make sure the care we provide to every patient is the highest possible quality. Every practitioner in our office pursues further education and training every year so we can always offer you the most advanced treatments for any dental problem you might encounter. We also welcome patients needing emergency care because we know how important it is to remedy painful situations as soon as possible.

If I need a dental procedure and I don't have the cash to cover it, will financing options be available?

Yes, financing options are available. We partner with several high-tech finance companies. We aim to make it quick and easy for our patients and get solutions while the patient's in the office. These companies set up accounts for our patients quickly and easily online, giving patients the ability to manage their account, pay extra if they want, pay it off sooner if they want, and see the balances of whatever they are paying on.

Will I have to pay for my dental procedure up front?

Typically, patients do pay something up front to reserve the time on the schedule. However, whether they pay in full or not is an option but not absolutely necessary.

Does all dental financing require a credit check?

Not always. Sometimes we allow patients to break it up into payments in-house. The majority of the companies that we work with do what's called a soft credit check. This does not show up on your credit, it doesn't impact your credit in any negative way to check with the finance company to see if you are eligible for any kind of payment options.

Does dental insurance typically cover the cost of dental procedures?

Dental insurance will cover a portion of it, but they generally do not cover all of the needed dental treatment.

How can I find out if my dental insurance covers the cost of my dental procedure?

We can help with that. We contact your dental insurance company and find out what your benefits are. That way, we can give you a very accurate estimation as to what we think your insurance company will do.

If insurance only covers part of my dental treatment, can dental financing help with the rest of it?

Yes, it can. This is very common. We have patients all the time utilize their dental benefits, and then anything that they need to pay beyond what the insurance covers, they want to break up into payments.

Can Nooga Dentistry help me find a financing company that can help me get the dental procedures that I need?

Yes, we can help with that. We have partnered with several finance companies to make this a seamless process for patients.

How can I get started with dental financing?

You can give us a call and we will bring you in, do your exam, your x-rays, and see what's needed. We'll talk to you about our findings and what we believe that you need. We'll discuss what it is that you're interested in, and any concerns that you have, and then we can match you up with a suitable financing company.
